ABS-CBN REFUSES TO PAY RANSOM FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES!

Shame on ABS-CBN! Ces Drilon and her crew better hope that there is a God and it’s not Allah.

Despite the monumental increase in our electric bills and the Lopez family’s saga of nothing but GREED, they refuse to pay their employees ransom.

Oh yeah, they will not negotiate with terrorists, they’ll only ask the Filipino people to go to the nearest blood bank and sell their blood and kidney to pay their Meralco bills. After all, they have such high moral ascendancy that they care for press freedom and thus, will not release 10 million pesos. Thus, their statement goes :

“ABS-CBN News will abide by its policy not to pay ransom because this would embolden kidnap for ransom groups to abduct other journalists, putting more lives at risk,”

ABS CBN News is doing everything it can help to help the families of its kidnapped journalists [get] through this harrowing ordeal”

They care for press freedom? Really? I know someone who used to work for ABS-CBN and she said that ABS-CBN cares for press freedom as much as a dog cares for a vegetarian meal. ABS-CBN censors its “news”. Yes, you got that right.

To put it bluntly, ABS-CBN tells the people what “news” is. The desk is controlled by this ONE family’s “political interests” (nevermind if Noli de Castro once did a Holloween special dressed up like a vampire, they WANT their people in power!). Nevermind if the same Noli de Castro couldn’t read the news without sitting on two telephone directories to “look tall” and more distinguished. Nevermind if anything GOOD about the Marcos family or Gringo Honasan or “their enemies” matters. They will not report it. “NEWS” to ABS-CBN is what they want you to hear. Get it?

Yes, they are worst than Hitler which sometimes makes me wonder if “someone” who is sick right now made a vast mistake when she “gave back what the Marcos stole” (huh??) to the Lopezes”. Well, that gave Kris Aquino a high paying job despite all the.. .. yah know…?????

ABS-CBN also asked for prayers and requested other news organizations to “join ABS-CBN News in condemning this unconscionable attack against journalists.”HILARIOUS!!!!

They are now leaving the matter to PRAYERS and to GOD which isn’t a bad idea if it wasn’t an official press release from one family who never was known to leave matters of their MONEY and POWER to God. Can we leave our Meralco bills up to God to pay for us? Can those with BayanTel phones leave it up to God for Him to pay their bills? Can those who need clean water leave it up to God to make sure that the Lopez family does not CUT their basic water supply so they can DRINK CLEAN WATER and not get sick?

ABS-CBN should quit being stingy and pay for three human lives of their employees. It is NOT a matter of morality than it is a matter of “emergency”. It is time to stop the funny moralizing press releases and DO SOMETHING the same way we pay our bills on time.

Perhaps we as a people should issue a press release asking the Lopez family to DOWN our electric bills. With the help of Divine Providence and perhaps, people like Letty Magsanoc(we like her), it just MIGHT work. After all, freedom to live is important too. Like press freedom.

Angelo de La Cruz is one lucky man. Remember?

He was NOT a Lopez employee. Thank God.
